About the Role
The Audit Supervisor will be responsible for leading and reviewing statutory audit assignments, ensuring compliance with IFRS, ISA, UAE VAT, CT and other relevant regulations, managing a team, and maintaining strong client service and relationships while delivering high-quality audit outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle statutory audit engagements with major exposure in statutory audits.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of audit, IFRS, ISA and local laws throughout the engagement.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, CT and other relevant regulations.
- Manage and guide a team, review their work and ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Maintain strong client service and relationship, acting as a key contact during audits.
- Prepare and review working papers, audit reports and related documentation.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite and audit preparation software for planning, documentation and reporting.
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant – ICAI.
- Minimum 4–5 years of post-qualification experience in Audit (with at least 4 years preferred).
- In-depth knowledge and experience in audit, IFRS and ISA.
- Proficient in UAE VAT, CT and other relevant regulations.
- Capable of managing a team and reviewing downline work.
- Confident communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit preparation software.
